Pre-season training starts in two weeks!

Pre-season training will take place at KTH-hallen the four Sundays in March, starting on the 7th. We have booked 2 hours between 14 and 16 and due to generous sponsorship from the club it will only cost 20 kr/player. We will focus on fitness by playing innebandy and basketball, and perhaps some hand-ball drills. As the club is putting money towards this make sure you do your best at attending. Plus Coach Jordan doesn’t like slackers. Bring indoor shoes and clothes, and an innebandy stick if you have one. There will be extra sticks for those who want to borrow. Facilities include change rooms with showers and sauna.

To get to KTH-hallen take the red line to Tekniska Högskolan then walk for 5 minutes according to the map.

A new home

The site has now moved to it’s new home and we hope the temporary unavailability hasn’t been of any inconvenience.

More info from the club will come during the spring so stay tuned. Meanwhile you can always watch this AFL commercial a few times.

Saff Grand Final this saturday

The regular season has now ended with Södermalm claiming the number one spot. However there is still the single most important game of the season yet to be played; the Saff Grand Final.

Södermalm will play Bromma (winners in the semi-final against newcomers Årsta) in the battle for the Saff Trophy.

Grand Final
Where: Årstafältet
When: Sat 19th sept. Kickoff at 13.00

Årsta will handle the BBQ so bring your friends and come cheer for the mighty Södermalm!

See you there!

Blues clipped the Swans

The field was moist like a maiden’s freshly washed hair and the air was crisp like starched linen. High dry Low wet conditions like these promised both fast and skilful play. Although both teams were already through to the finals no one was expecting an easy game. Årsta was out for their first win against Söder who in turn wanted to show that the 2 mishaps against Bromma and Solna earlier were just that. Södermalm got off to a bad start with returning big man Chris Koelmeyer injuring himself in the very first ruck contest. A busted ankle meant that he was out for the rest of the game. We keep our fingers crossed that he will be back for the grand final.
