Sunday the 19^th of January is the date for the Söder AGM and Bowling competition.

The AGM starts at 14.00 at our sponsor pub O’Learys, Liljeholmen. All members are welcome to come along and make an impact on the future of the club. The 7th Södermalm awards night was a big success. Around 25 players and girlfriends turned up at the sponsor pub O’Learys for the celebrations. Dinner, vote count and awards presentations.

It’s that time of year again, when we put on the Söder tie and celebrate the season’s achievements. It’s time for the 7th Södermalm awards night! Nerve wrecking vote count, loads of medals, food and drinks, good company, what else do you need? Get in there!

Time: Meet up at 7pm for drinks, dinner at 8pm followed by presentation and awards.
Dress code: High Clinton. Remember the club tie!

The footy season is over and so is the fishing competition. That means two new names on the honour roll.

It was very close between Brissles and Dylan at the top of the Södermalm tipping competition. In the last regular round the calculating commentator got in front by a point and since he had a better total margin Dylan was forced to play the wild cards in the finals. Congratulations to Brissles on winning the Södermalm Tipping Competition 2013, and to a free membership in 2014.

It has been a controversial year in the Södermalm fishing competition with the introduction of the Södermalm Reference Fish Size Chart (RFSC). According to the new rules it is the relative species size rather than the absolute size that counts. Already with the second cast of the season Larry landed a 48cm/80% Harr, a fish so big that it broke his fishing rod. Although Kungen came back with a massive 70cm Gös later in the summer that catch only rates as 70%. This is the second title for the fun-loving fisherman.

Jordo landed a 60 cm pike up in Smedjebacken on Friday thereby taking the lead in the Söder 2013 Fishing Competition.

Registration night has been moved from Good Friday to the 5th of April, 19.00 at O’Learys, Liljeholmen.

At 15.00 Södermalm met up at the sponsor pub O’Learys, Liljeholmen for the AGM. One hour later the board had been re-elected and the wheels set in motion for 2013. The long discussions had given everyone a dry throat so after a few cold ones the group headed straight to Gullmarsplan for the Söder Bowling Championship. Everyone except Murf who went home to get his bowling pants.

Afterwards we head off to Gullmarsplan for the Södermalm Bowling championship. The tournament starts at 18.00 and the entry fee is a mere 100 kr, the club covers the rest.
