Finally someone broke the 50 cm barrier in the fishing competition. Just off ‘Pike point’ in the mighty Nissan River, Sean pulled up a 69 cm pike at 13.00 today. Around 3 kilos he says and the lure was of course the yellow and orange ‘Pike buster’. We got a quick word with the aquatic avenger: “Well, it wasn’t a Mexican Marlin but whatever puts me in front in the comp will have to do.
